Retrospective 2022

After three years of success in Leysin and discussions with the National Academy of Handball , we decided to speak to our friends in Swiss-German and continue to live in this experience of handball.

Located on the edge of the Aar, in the periphery of Bern, the municipality of Muri is ideally located in the center of Switzerland and is easily accessible from all sides of the country. Our 4th edition have had it's place from 18. to 23. July 2022.

We were lucky enough to welcome 48 children aged 12 to 18, including 15 girls and 33 boys . We make a point of keeping our camp mixed and giving girls the opportunity to develop in a sport that often has a rather masculine connotation. Our participants came from Lausanne, Visp, Geneva, Bern, Zurich, St. Gallen, Lucerne and also from neighboring France.

The languages ​​used by the staff and coaches during the camp were French , German and English .

Les coachs

The main coaches of the camp were Akim Komnenic (Serbia), Klaus Feldmann (Germany), Ulf Anderson (Sweden). Marko Markis (Croatia) and Nikola Marinovic were responsible for our goalkeepers and their specific work. Like previous year, Slobodan ""BOBA" Acimov was our fitness coach. All of them came experts who have worked at the highest level.

Activités

Apart from handball activities and training, we also have offered other activities/courses such as:

  • “ Jump Academy ” with Samy Sieber. Jump with ropes, jump with the style. Visit his Instagram @samsjump
  • Education and prevention against sports injuries presented in collaboration with SportAdo - CHUV Lausanne .
  • Physical test and Mental charge test (all participants have been tested at the entry of the camp)

Remerciements

In order to best ensure the health of the participants but also of the staff, we had a professional medical team on site, represented by Laurence Chappuis, Suzanne Gard, Pedro Coclho and Ophelie Audrey. 

Collaboration with SportAdo confirmed once again our choice to preserve health of our campers.

First of all, we would like to thank all the young participants of the camp who allowed us to spend a week full of new experiences!
